With blazing sun, insufferable humidity and torrential rain, summers in Hong Kong can be brutal. Luckily, the city’s many beautiful public and hotel pools are a welcome respite from the heat. To help you beat the sweltering weather, we’ve rounded up the best pool spots in town.
If you’re looking for a pool with stunning views of the city, look no further than Wet at W Hong Kong. This rooftop pool is perched 211 metres above ground and offers panoramic views of the city and harbour. Even better, you can also sign up for swimming lessons here, so your little ones can learn to swim in style.
You can also head to YMCA Bridges Street Centre, which was the first indoor pool in Hong Kong and is one of the city’s most popular pools. The pool is located inside a historic complex and is fairly affordable in comparison to other swimming pools around the city. You can purchase a day pass to use the pool for just HKD 120, or an everyday deluxe pass which includes access to both the pool and Fit Gym.
The pool is open to both hotel and non-hotel guests, but there are separate entry fees for each. Guests can enjoy the pool for four hours on weekdays and eight hours on weekends. The price for non-hotel guests is HKD 600 for adults and HKD 300 for children.
This pool is a favourite among locals, thanks to its two outdoor pools and one indoor pool with Jacuzzi. It’s also right in the heart of Wan Chai, so it’s easy to get to if you’re staying nearby. Plus, the kids’ pool is a hit with the little ones, with its water slides, animals and more.
A month-long pass to the pool costs HKD $300, while daily tickets are HKD 19 for adults on weekdays and HKD 9 for students, persons above the age of 60 and children between 3 and 13. Disabled people can get in at half the price.
Hk Pools has an excellent BuildZoom score of 104, which puts them in the top 91% of 71,576 contractors in Arizona. The company specializes in pool and spa construction projects, as well as remodeling and renovations. They have completed 28 building projects in the past year. Their average project size is $34,500.
